Inside, premium Japanese cedar, double-layer benches, backrests and LED lighting create a spacious, inviting retreat once the sun goes down. The covered front porch adds a practical finishing touch, providing a sheltered spot to cool down, step inside or keep towels and slippers close by.
Designed to stand out. Built to unwind.
The Haven Difference
Premium Japanese cedar, modern black styling, LED backlighting and genuine wall-mounted Harvia heaters come together to create a proper outdoor sauna experience for Kiwi backyards. They’re chic enough to look like part of the landscaping, not an overpriced shed. Quality where it counts, without the inflated wellness-retreat price tag, or any mystery timber held together by optimism.

Important Info:
Japanese cedar is a natural timber and will gradually change when exposed to outdoor conditions. To help maintain the sauna’s appearance, install it on a level, well-drained surface, keep the base clear of standing water and allow good airflow underneath and around the structure. The exterior is finished with UV-stable paint, but like any painted surface in the New Zealand sun, the colour will fade over time. Repainting with a suitable water-based, environmentally friendly exterior paint will help keep it looking fresh.
The sauna is designed for outdoor use and can be installed in an exposed position. However, placing it beneath a pergola, veranda or other overhead shelter is recommended to provide extra protection from the elements and help maximise the life of the exterior finish.
This sauna must be installed and hard-wired by a licensed electrician. It’s not plug-in ready, and professional installation is highly recommended to ensure safety and compliance with New Zealand electrical standards.
Freight Info:
Due to the size and weight of these saunas, standard delivery is quoted as driveway drop-off only. The sauna arrives as a large-piece kitset packed in crates, with one package weighing up to 820kg, so you will need a clear plan for unloading and moving it into position. Our delivery partner will contact you beforehand to arrange a suitable delivery day and time, so there should be no surprise sauna turning up while you are out buying milk.
Need something different? We can also help arrange HIAB delivery closer to the installation area or delivery to a freight depot for collection. Contact us at support@containerdoor.co.nz to discuss the best option for your site.
